Counting blessings for the small things of life is a beautiful way of thanking others. Gratitude is not only an expression but it has many positive impacts. One can include gratitude in their daily life and can get happiness out of it. Gratitude is the way of expressing kindness towards others. Feeling grounded towards others is the reflection of one’s goodness. Only saying thanks is not gratitude but feeling grateful towards others is the gesture of gratitude. Showing respect, kindness, and generous behavior is a way of expressing thankfulness towards others. It is one of the feelings that make a person great. In the fast-moving world, no one has time to interact personally, and taking others granted is also one of the negative gestures. These social distances can be filled by showing gratefulness.
Showing thankfulness towards others is manner. We always heard that always be polite to the person who helped
you in your bad times.
Feeling grateful towards the life you have, feeling grateful towards your parents that have blessed you with many things in your life, etc are some of the ways you can include in your life.
Gratitude will increase your quality of life. According to psychologists those who practice gratitude are more alert and enthusiastic, have less stress and better health.
When you practice gratitude, you will be open to love people without creating any barriers, because you’ll understand they have been placed in your life to be loved. You will show them genuine love, the kind you give yourself.
You will be able to love and accept yourself the way you are. You will never base your gratitude on what people think you should do, and you will never change to please them.
Gratitude compels you to be sincere with yourself and do what is best for your inner peace.
Forgiving those who hurt you heals you from the burden of hate that had consumed you. When you forgive people, it’s for your own joy. Praises for the power of gratitude can seem trite. Basic politeness entreats us to say thank you to our family members, our friends and our co-workers in passing, and the majority of people would not describe these small exchanges as life-altering. What most of us don’t realize is that, with even a moment of thought about what exactly we’re grateful for, these moments of gratitude could be.
Gratitude breeds empowerment, which breeds action, which breeds gratitude, and so on. It is a balm that opens up conversation, tempers arguments, and can bridge the distance between strangers because it requires no background knowledge of the other person’s life. It’s simply an acknowledgment of something a person has done that positively impacted your life or the lives of those around you.
People thrive when they consistently hear about their value from others. In a world where we’re more likely to remember the negative feedback we receive, repeated messages of gratitude can help ground people in their own sense of self-worth. And when this happens, they can be empowered to accomplish more and pass along gratitude to even more people.
A thank-you note or a focused, thoughtful statement of thanks from one person to another can be the small domino that sets off a chain of gratitude that impacts the lives of multiple people. If we want to be a part of the far-reaching impacts of gratitude, we must start with ourselves. If you see something, say something (in the best way)! When someone you know helps you, your company, your family or your community, either thank them in the moment or send them a written thank-you later. Don’t be afraid to do this multiple times. People always need to hear it.
Remember that being grateful is a choice. Gratitude means acknowledging the goodness of a life worth living. If you can practice being perfect in other areas of your life, you can also practice gratitude. Make it your daily walk.
Gratitude is a gateway to positivity. When you contemplate what you have instead of what you lack, helplessness turns to empowerment. Weariness turns to rejuvenation. Emptiness to fulfillment. As with any facet of positive thinking, gratitude can help relieve stress and improve physical health, which has a halo effect on confidence and empowerment.
Gratitude has been touted as a tonic for whatever ails you, there are times when children refuse to acknowledge the good things their parents do for them, but they do realize it after they have their own kids. It is important that we express our gratitude to the parents through our actions. Even the small gesture can make a huge difference in their day.
And the best part about feeling the gratitude is that it will come back to you with greater things. You will not only feel positive about your days but also have an endless amount of joy to share.
“Life is short, start each day with a grateful heart”
